London experience-commerce platform Easol has closed a $30m (€26.8m) Series A extension made up of $20m in equity led by Y Combinator and a $10m debt facility from Viola Credit, taking total funding to $60m.

Easol was founded in 2021 by Ben and Lisa Simpson, the husband-and-wife team behind Rise Festival. The company sells a single platform for experience businesses (festivals, events, travel and hospitality operators) that handles bookings, payments, marketing, customer support and guest data, all on the client's own domain.

The founders built it after running live experiences that drew around two million guests a year and finding that the software they relied on was fragmented and left them with little control of their own customer data.

    The deal

The extension is split two ways. The $20m equity tranche was led by Y Combinator. Also taking part were Tiger Global, Foundation Capital, FMZ Ventures, Notion Capital and Eight Roads. The remaining $10m is a debt facility from Viola Credit, the Israeli lender.

That structure means about a third of the new money is non-dilutive. For founders and early shareholders, adding credit alongside equity limits how much of the company is sold in the round.

Easol did not disclose a valuation, the price per share or how ownership changed. The extension doubles total funding to $60m. Easol has chosen to extend its Series A rather than open a priced Series B.

    Use of funds

The money has paid for the launch of Teammates, a set of AI agents built into the platform. Customers can set up agents for sales, support and operations that work from live booking data, for example to find missed upsell opportunities, answer guest questions or change bookings.

Easol gave two examples from early deployments. In one, an agent found about $50,000 in potential upsells from guests who had booked without any add-ons and drafted the outreach. In the other, a client recovered $28,000 in outstanding payments.

    Scale

Easol has offices in London, New York and Los Angeles. It says experiences booked through its platform have been bought by 2.8 million guests in more than 135 countries so far in 2026.

Its clients include Coachella, Stagecoach, Defected, Afronation, Rapha, Swingers, State of Play Hospitality, Bingo Loco and Snowboxx.

    What's next

With US offices already open and festival brands such as Coachella and Stagecoach on its books, the extension gives Easol both equity and credit to keep growing in North America. Margins for experience operators are getting tighter, and the company is betting that automating sales and support work will drive more spending through its platform.

The test for the next round will be whether Teammates lifts revenue per customer enough to support a higher valuation, rather than a further extension of the Series A.
