London-based certification platform Isometric has extended its Series A to $50m (about £37m) after Intercontinental Exchange, the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, took a stake alongside nine other new backers. The additional tranche of roughly $10m (about £7.4m) lifts total funding across seed and Series A to $75m (about £56m).
Isometric was founded in 2022 by chief executive Eamon Jubbawy to verify industrial and environmental claims that buyers, investors and regulators rely on but cannot check themselves. Its Certify platform pairs artificial intelligence with independent verifiers, and publishes every certificate on a public registry alongside the underlying data, calculations and evidence.
The company first announced the Series A in June 2026 at $40m (about £30m). The round has now been reopened rather than replaced, with the new money taking it to $50m.
ICE is the headline name on the extended cap table. The group operates the New York Stock Exchange as well as some of the largest energy and environmental commodity markets in the world, and its arrival gives Isometric a strategic shareholder with direct exposure to the markets its certificates are designed to feed.
Also joining are Acario Innovation, the corporate venture arm of Tokyo Gas, plus BY Venture Partners, Dubai Future District Fund, Earth VC, Motion Ventures, One Capital, Plug and Play and Verb Ventures. Max Junestrand, founder of legal AI company Legora, invested as an angel. Existing investors remain on the register. Neither a pre-money nor a post-money valuation was disclosed, and the company has not published ownership or dilution figures.
"Provable output is financeable output," Jubbawy said. "Our AI agents check every data point behind an industrial claim, turning it into a verified asset."
Gordon Bennett, managing director of utility markets at ICE, said the group believes "analogue markets can be transformed through digital infrastructure", and that Isometric's approach to verification and data integrity was what prompted the investment.
The business began in carbon removal, where it says it has been contracted to certify more than 16 million tonnes — more than any other certifier globally by contracted volume — and has since widened into industrial emissions, energy, fuels and materials. More than 200 projects now use the platform. Named customers include Microsoft, Anglo American, Boeing and JPMorgan Chase.
Isometric says the capital will fund expansion across the industrial economy, with the ICE relationship intended to connect its certification layer to established market infrastructure and data distribution.
The raise lands in an active year for European carbon certification and measurement. Comparable 2026 rounds include €12.6m for Paris-based Equitable Earth, €17.5m for Antwerp's D-CRBN and €13m for London cement substitute firm Cocoon Carbon.
